THE CJE ASSISTS YOUTH AGES 14 T0 18 WHO ARE LOOKING FOR THEIR FIRST SUMMER JOB.

The Desjardins Youth Work Experience Program  (Desjardins Jeunes au Travail) is implemented in collaboration with the Caisse Desjardins du Lac-Memphrémagog.

If you are a young person looking for your first summer job or an employer who is open to hiring a student with no work experience, contact us to learn more about the Program. Participating employers receive 50% of the minimum wage paid to the youth and must be able to give them 180 hours of work over the course of the summer (example: 6 weeks at 30 hours per week). Each summer, 15 employers receive a wage subsidy as part of this project. Priority is given to employers that are certified by the school-work balance program (Programme Conciliation études-travail).

Congratulations to the 15 participants and employers for the summer of 2016!
